June 30, 2011- Day 365

This is it... the final day. I would like to thank of all my blog followers, friends, and family for supporting me on this 365 day journey. Some days  I found it easier than others to take photos. I can't tell you how many times I cried, "I don't know what to take a picture of!". I also can't tell you how many times someone was there to help me. Thank you! You know who you are!

I think I've learned a lot. Not only about photography but about life. Last year at this time I know where I was and I look where I am now..... happy and content. 

As I look over my past year in photos, it's funny. I can really remember each day! That is the amazing part. I know how I felt when I took the picture, where I was, what the weather was like.  It's awesome. 

I would be lying if I said I was sad that this is over, it's the exact opposite. I'm ready for a change, a tiny  break. I'm ready to focus on new and exciting mini projects for my blog/business. So stay tuned!

Meet up with Rachel for some dinner and drinks! It was a cute placed called Zapata's. I felt like I was on a vacation in Mexico thanks to all the cute decorations!

Today Mom, Crista, Emily, and I met up with Kim and Manny for cake tasting.  YUMMMMY!

Emily Nicole --- 1 Month Baby Session

Isn't she gorgeous? I can't believe that my beautiful niece is over a month old now! A photo session was long over due! I called up Crista & Phil and invited myself over! Thanks brother-in-law for cooking dinner!! Thank you Crista for dressing Em in her cute little outfits! And thank you Emily for finally falling asleep.

In order to get shots like these.........

We had to get Em to take a nice nap!! But this bright-eyed wide awake girl wasn't having it! It took a bottle and some rocking from her momma to finally send her off into dreamland.

Almost there after a few fake outs. (She'd close her eyes, look like she was sleeping, and after a few minutes she'd suddenly open her eyes.)

Presents! A great friend at work bought me birthday presents. Can you tell what my favorite color is? One guess---- GREEN! I love my scarf and earrings!!

It's been way too long since the last time that I saw Sarah, Cory, & Liam! They came to STL for a visit to the zoo. We met up and had dinner. It was so nice to catch up with my old friends! And I couldn't get over how much Liam has grown! He warmed up to me after I shared some M&M's!

Crista & Phil--- Maternity Session

We just wanted a simple day with a few pics...and that's what we got + a little rain. I was excited that Crista and Phil agreed to be my models. Any experience that I can gain, I welcome!

It was funny because I remember telling Crista before I left, "This might be the last time we hang out before Emily arrives." Sure enough, 5 days after we shot this session, Emily Nicole was born!

June 9, 2011- Day 344

Today was the best day in the world. Kim & I turned 26 today! We enjoyed the day at the pool, had lunch at The Drunken Fish, headed back to the pool, then went to dinner with some fam. It was awesome day! 

June 8, 2011- Day 343

Check out my beautiful niece! I finally had a much needed session with my niece! When I arrived she was wide awake. Uh Oh! We needed her asleep! I turned the air off and after a bottle and some hushing from Momma Crista, Emily fell sound asleep. Isn't she an angel?

June 7, 2011- Day 342

I tagged along for a venue day with Kim. We stopped by Windows on Washington. It has such a great view!

June 6, 2011- Day 341

Thank you sales lady at Hobby Lobby for telling me about the coupon that I could pull up on my phone for the cashier. I saved $4!

June 5, 2011- Day 340

It was time....time to say goodbye to the last physical piece of property left that my grandma owned. We were all happy that her condo finally sold. Ironically it sold to an older woman moving back here from Florida (where my aunt and uncle live). Her son lives in the same neighborhood as my dad. Weird, huh?

I had a hard time today. I felt like I was finally letting her go.

I was partially at ease because of my dream. I dreamt last night that we were at my grandma's old house and she was telling me to let things go and to keep a few things. I knew she was leaving and sick but she told me it was ok to get rid of her things.
