April 28, 2011- Day 302
Fredbird came to lunch today. Our building had a fun lunch planned complete with a Cardinal ticket giveaway, hamburgers, and hotdogs. You know I couldn't miss Fredbird!

April 27, 2011- Day 301
I finally got my hair cut today...well not cut, trimmed. I wonder if anyone will notice. It never fails, when I'm growing my hair out I get asked, "Did you get your hair cut?" When I do actually get it cut, no one notices!
Brandon- Senior Session 2011
If I had to describe Brandon in 3 words I would say.... confident, easygoing, & awesome!!!! We totally clicked at the Graffiti wall for his session. My corny jokes and his laugh made for an amazing day and great photos.
I was excited and nervous, for this, my first senior session. Brandon made my job easy though! He is a total natural in front of the camera. I think you will agree!
Brandon- I wish you all the luck in the world and the college that you choose will be lucky to have you!!
There is that laugh I mentioned!

April 23, 2011- Day 297
You know I couldn't avoid it. I had to go see what this tornado did to the St. Louis area last night. I was shocked. It was jaw dropping devastation.
See the power line pole spilt at the base? The building it completely destroyed.
A billboard spilt in half.
April 22, 2011- Day 296
What a scary day! I arrived home to hear of a tornado watch and then to hear that a tornado has touched down. Rain and hail came with the high winds. Lights flickered. Luckily I was safe. The tornado missed me. This is the calm after the storm.
I did though end up stuck on 70 for 4 hours! 70 and 270 were shut down. It was crazy. There were down trees and debris everywhere.

April 20, 2011- Day 294
I hit up the Heavy Anchor again tonight. This time it was for a family/friend soft opening. It was so exciting to see the bar in action! I ordered a great shot and drink. Thanks Jo! The bar opens officially this Friday and the Grand Opening is Friday 22nd!!
April 19, 2011- Day 293
What a day! A long and fun day. After work I headed to The Heavy Anchor to see if I could help my friends and owners, Jodie & Josh, with any last minute details. The place has changed a lot since I last saw it. The murals are amazing and I was happy to see the bar fully stocked!
Jodie put me to work painting....not my strong suit! Hope J&J like the orange in their office!

April 16, 2011- Day 290
Moving day for Kim & Manny! It was an early start and we didn't let a sprinkle of rain here and there bother us. Manny is trying to show that he is wearing a different undershirt from what he wore on my moving day and Chris..... well he is being Chris! I finally asked him are you looking at my camera? He answered No and then a laugh!

It's a sure sign spring is here! Finally I can look around and see a little color!
Crista & Phil's Baby Shower 3.19.11
What a baby shower! From the gifts to the candy to the food, it was an awesome day. Kim, my mom, and I were excited to throw Crista a baby shower, We envisioned bright, fun, spring-like colors! A candy bar was first on our to do list! It was a hit!
Kim came up with the idea to ask the guests to bring their favorite book for little baby H. It was amazing to see all of the children's books!
We also carefully decorated the tables with sweet gerber daisies and alternated baby pictures of Crista and Phil on each table.
Also I must give a shout out to Laura Olsen for Laura Lynn's Creative Cakes! The cake was beautiful and delicious! We received many compliments on the cake!

April 7, 2011- Day 281
Kim, Crista, & I met up for shopping. Crista wanted some help coordinating outfits for her photo session on Sunday. We had a good time! I think the best part was getting a bite to eat at the mall (@ the West County mall) and the man at Manchu Wok remembered Kim & I from the South county mall!! We've been eating there since we were young teens! Kind of embarrassing kind of funny that he still remembers us!

When I'm told to do something I don't like to listen. They say don't ever shoot into the sun....well.....I did. Believe it or not this was taken around noon today. I was shooting up through the trees!
