Chris & Nina- Maternity

When Nina & I discussed her maternity session we debated....Where can we shoot? It will be November which means really cold and maybe even snowy or rainy. We worried about the weather and decided on a few different possible locations. We just knew it would be super cold and we'd probably have to shoot a majority of the session inside.  Turns out Mother Nature had a different idea in mind. It was in the high 70's that weekend! I told Nina & Chris, don't worry we can 'fake' the cold winter look, which is exactly what we did! So what are you waiting for? Check out their wonderful session!

Maria & Roman Maternity & Newborn Session

Ready to meet the sweetest little girl? Ok don't scroll down to the bottom of this post just yet. First you have to meet her FUN amazing parents, Maria and Roman.  When scheduling a session with my friend Maria, we had troubles! Yes, that's troubles with an 's'.  Do you remember the heat this summer? I know it's been cooler lately but back then we struggled to find a day that wasn't over 100 degrees. Eventually we settled on a day and scheduled the session closer to sunset, A) for that gorgeous lighting and B) because we really hoped it'd be a little cooler.
We met at Lafayette Park and below you will see the fun, happiness, and love that radiates from this  couple. I had a blast ya'll and hope you did too!

Crista & Phil--- Maternity Session

We just wanted a simple day with a few pics...and that's what we got + a little rain. I was excited that Crista and Phil agreed to be my models. Any experience that I can gain, I welcome!

It was funny because I remember telling Crista before I left, "This might be the last time we hang out before Emily arrives." Sure enough, 5 days after we shot this session, Emily Nicole was born!

May 1, 2011- Day 305

I had a really fun day with Crista and Phil. We did a mini-maternity session for fun. Look at that belly!!! Any day now my little niece will be here! I can't wait to meet her.
