May 11, 2011- Day 315

I hit up The Heavy Anchor after work today for Happy Hour. Great specials. Kim and I played Memory on the Megatouch. We now have the top 4 scores but I will also casually forget to mention that we were the first people to play any games on the machine!!

April 20, 2011- Day 294

I hit up the Heavy Anchor again tonight. This time it was for a family/friend soft opening. It was so exciting to see the bar in action! I ordered a great shot and drink. Thanks Jo! The bar opens officially  this Friday and the Grand Opening is Friday 22nd!!

April 19, 2011- Day 293

What a day!  A long and fun day. After work I headed to The Heavy Anchor to see if I could help my friends and owners, Jodie & Josh, with any last minute details. The place has changed a lot since I last saw it. The murals are amazing and I was happy to see the bar fully stocked! 

Jodie put me to work painting....not my strong suit! Hope J&J like the orange in their office!

February 24, 2011- Day 239

I am so proud of my friend Jodie. She is opening up a bar in April. The name you ask? The Heavy Anchor !!! I'm so excited. A few friends went with Jodie today to check out this place. There is still a lot of work to be done but we are excited to help.
